About The Army of the Lord – 5 DR

TThe Army of the Lord – 5 DR is not a church or plan to be compared to a church or compete with any true Christian church worldwide. The Lord is raising the 5-Fold Army in the last days as an auxiliary service (Eph. 4:11-12) to reach lives and not steal sheep from any true Christian church. The 5-Fold Army will direct people worldwide to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior (John 3:16, Rom. 10:9, John 14:6) and find a good Christian church in their area or nation.

Our Core Values:

The Army of the Lord – 5 DR includes the following Core Values:

Our objective is to win men, women, and children to Christ, and to spread the Gospel of the grace, love, and mercy of God to all mankind.

We seek to build up Believers in the faith and knowledge of Christ, to ordain and establish these Core Values to which we, as spiritual soldiers thereof, agree and voluntarily submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit‘s Guidance.

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testament (66 books) is the Word of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in True Christian Articles of Faith and their teachings.

  • God

He shall judge the world. We believe that the Godhead is mentioned approximately 75 times in the New Testament. Like a butterfly, cocoon, and larvae having 3 parts, God Our Creator exists in three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one God, having precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections, and worthy of precisely the same plan of salvation Deuteronomy 32:4; Psalm 9:8; Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 12:29; John 1:1-4; John 17:3; Acts 5:3-4; Acts 17:28; Hebrews 1:3; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Hebrews 1:1-3; Revelation 1:4-6; Revelation 4:11

  • Jesus Christ

    • Jesus Christ died on the Cross for each person’s sins—essentially, for the sins of the world.
    • Christ was crucified and resurrected in 3 days and now sits on the right hand of God in Heaven.
    • In John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
    • In John 14:6, Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
  • Holy Spirit

    • The Army of the Lord-5 Distinct Roles is given to us in Ephesians 4:11.
    • The guidance of the Holy Spirit was given on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:4) to unify all believers into one body of Christ the Church in fulfillment of the promise Jesus gave to the apostles (Eph. 2:20, Eph. 4:11-12).
    • His presence in the lives of believers is obtained through grace and faith and testified to by His fruit in us by - love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Gal.5:21-22).
    • We believe in spiritual gifts, including the 5fold equipping gifts of the Spirit, and His Spirit which evidences in the manifestations through mankind. John 7:38-39; John 14:16-17; John 15:26; John 16:13-14; Acts 1:8;  Acts 1:5; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:13; 1 Corinthians 12-14; Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 4:11-12; Philippians 3:3.
  • Scripture

    • We believe all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness, so that the Army of the Lord-5 Distinct Role is equipped.
    • We believe that the sixty-six books of the Bible are all given by the inspiration of God in the sense that the writing, historical, poetical, doctrinal, and prophetical, and to the smallest word, provided such word was present in the original manuscripts of God’s Plan for Humans Salvation. Mark 12:26; Mark 12:36; Mark 13:11; Acts 1:16; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
  • Your Salvation

We believe that God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life, and the one who believes in Jesus Christ the Son of God has the witness in himself; the one who does not believe God will go through Tribulation and eventually Hell.  Acts 4:12; Acts 13:39; Romans 5:1; 1 Corinthians 3:11; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 2:4-6; Ephesians 2:13;  1 Thessalonians 1:9; Hebrews 9:24; John 3:5; John 3:16; John 3:36; John 5:24; John 17:23; 1 John 4:17; 1 John 5:10-12

Rapture of the True Christian Church

Coming Soon

The Army of the Lord – 5 DR believes we are in the “Church Age,” and the next step is the “Rapture of the True Christian Church” Revelation 19-22, Revelation 13:1-2, Matthew 24:4-8, Daniel 9:24-27, 2 Thessalonians 2:5-12, Revelation 13:16-18, Isaiah 24:21-22, Jeremiah 30:5-7, Hosea 5:15, Daniel 12:1, Luke 21:7-36, Hebrew 9:28, 2 Timothy 2:3

True Christian Living and Morality

We believe that we are called with a holy calling to walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit, and to so live in the Spirit that we do not fulfill the desires or lusts of the flesh. We believe that the human body is blood, flesh, and bones and leads to physical death. We believe the soul is made up of your will, mind, and emotions, however, you have your pride, arrogance, and vainness here also which leads to spiritual death. Your spirit is made up of your conscience, communion, and wisdom which leads to eternal death in Heaven or Hell (Matthew 7: 22-23)

  • We believe God created humanity, male and female, reflecting the image and likeness of God. Each person’s biological sex has been sovereignly appointed by God and is an irreversible aspect of his or her nature.

  • The first human, Adam, sinned and thereby incurred the judgment of both physical death and spiritual death which is eternal separation from God. Therefore, all human beings, with the exception of Christ Jesus, are born with a fallen nature, are accountable for their sin, and need to be born again.

  • Rejection of one’s God-ordained biological sexuality reflects a rejection of God’s plans and purposes.

The Church

  • We believe that the Church is composed of all who are united by the Holy Spirit to the risen and ascended Son of God, that by the same Spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles (true Christians grafted into Christ).

  • Being members one of another, we are responsible in good conscience to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, loving one another with a pure heart fervently.

  • Jesus commanded us to “make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit”. The Lord Jesus in the night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, “This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way He took the cup also, after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.

The Human Conscience

The human conscience can be thought of as an “inner voice,” (2 Kings 19:11) through which the Holy Spirit communicates. Satan copies the Holy Spirit in a counterfeit approach to get people to listen to his voice in our conscience rather than the Holy Spirit’s (God's) voice.

  • The “Good” Conscience (2 Corinthians 6)

This is a person with a clean and healthy conscience of God. Their thoughts are honored by the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:21-22), and human thoughts come from various things, such as emotion or experience. They feel at peace in their spirit and soul and experience the joy of God (Nehemiah 8:10), not wanting to harm anyone.  They forgive and love everyone.

  • The “Blinded” Conscience

Persons who commit sins worse than the other person, but they point out and admonish others for their sin(s). These people see the speck in the other person’s eye but not the plank in their own eyes (Matthew 7:3-5). People with a “blinded” conscience will admonish other people for lying, adultery, stealing, gossiping, etc. but they continue to do some of these things themselves. They have no conviction in Christ, no grace for mankind, or understanding of God’s Mercy.  People with a “blinded” conscience don’t know how to keep their conversation right with grieving the Holy Spirit, instead, their opinion is always right.

  • The “Defiled” Conscience (2 Corinthians 7:1)

They are vain, arrogant, prideful, and rebellious, it’s all about them and they really don’t care about you.

  • The “Evil” Conscience

They don’t forgive others easily or at all, they have thoughts of evil, they want to kill or hurt someone, they don’t trust anyone, they are very jealous, and they aren’t afraid of taking someone’s wife or husband. They have a hard time keeping their mind pure and holy and have difficulty speaking words of love, mercy, grace, comfort, joy, exhortation, admiration, praise, and forgiveness.

What’s the remedy for a “Good” Conscience?

The answer is simple.

One ☝️ must repent and take control of every thought going into his or her mind (soul) and conscience. For example, consider the way you look at the opposite sex (lust), money (greed), pride (ego), and arrogance (self-importance and egotism). With a pure conscience and spirit, you will be free from satan’s demonic bondage and gain a closer intimacy with Christ. You will no longer have a “ wall up” or have a spirit or soul blocked from hearings God’s voice by not grieving the Holy Spirit through voice conversations, texts, emails, letters, Facebook, Twitter, etc. God has a bigger plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11) and for your life. An example is a glass of dirty water versus a glass of clean water. If you have so much stuff in you, your mind, soul, and spirit become cloudy or you grieve the Holy Spirit and His voice can’t be heard over your anger, attitude, pride, etc.

Marriage and Sexuality

We believe that God created humanity, both male and female, reflecting the image and likeness of God. Each person’s biological gender has been sovereignly appointed by God and is an irreversible aspect of his or her nature. The first Adam sinned and thereby incurred the judgment of both physical death and spiritual death. This death is imminent without repentance and forgiveness through Jesus Christ. Rejection of one’s biological sexuality reflects a rejection of God’s ordained purposes and plan for that individual.

  • God has established and revealed in Scripture His divine order to fulfill humanity’s deepest longings for meaning and purpose which includes the order of marriage between a man and a woman.

  • We believe the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture. We believe that marriage between one man and one woman uniquely reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church. We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other.

  • We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, or use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God. Genesis 2:18-25; Matthew 15:18-20; Romans 1:18-32; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:18; 1 Corinthians 7:2-5; Ephesians 5:21-33; Hebrews 13:4

Love, Grace, Mercy & Compassion

We believe that every person must be afforded grace, mercy, compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity. Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture or the doctrines of the Corporation. Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31

Religious Spirit - CODJL

An acronym developed by the author.

  • C - Criticize

People will criticize you, the church, the Bible, your family, your church, your work, and affiliations, etc.

  • O - Opinion

Others voice their opinion instead of following the Holy Spirit's guidance in the situation.  Voicing strong opinions without researching content + context is usually because the person is operating in the natural world where opinions abound without facts to back it up (much like cable news stations today).

  • D - Debate

People love to debate from their sense of pride and ego. Debaters will try to undermine you and steal your joy, energy, and life. Debating things of God is meaningless because God is the Author and Finisher, the Alpha and the Omega, and His Word rings true forever and ever.

  • J - Judgment

Others who do not agree with you will pass judgment on everything, including expressing their strong opinions. These people who are judgmental tend to criticize everything and put a negative slant on it.  These people tend to think they do not have any faults and forget to judge themselves before they speak or act.

  • L - Legalism

People steeped in legalism seem to love the law for everyone else and try to find ways to bend it for their own benefit.  Legalists often act holy (such as the Pharisees and Sadducees) but they are not actually pure in the Holy Spirit within their hearts.

5-Fold Army of the Lord - APEPT

  • P - Pastor

Usually presides over a church congregation, the sheep, and they preach the Word of God and also bring about healings, signs and wonders, and miracles through Christ Jesus.

  • T - Teacher

A lifelong study of the Bible and knows the Word of God; teaches others who do not know Christ and bring new Believers into the flock. Teachers teach one on one or to groups of people, as in a classroom setting.

John 14:6 ~ Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

The Great Commission.  Matthew 28:16-20 ~ Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw Him, they worshipped Him: but some doubted. And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto Me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
